The Gala Banquet 2023 in the Winter Palace
The Gala Banquet in the Winter Palace in support of the Hermitage Special Endowment Fund will take place in the State Hermitage Museum on June 30, 2023
This year's reception is dedicated to the opening of the exhibition TSARS AND KNIGHTS , and the guests of the banquet will be its first visitors.
During the evening, the guests will be invited to plunge into the atmosphere of chivalry and to join the magnificent feast of knightly times. Gala highlights will include a cocktail in the Knights’ Hall and galleries of Medieval art and Renaissance painting, dinner at the Jordan Gallery, and a troubadour tournament in the Fieldmarshal Hall with the participation of Mariinsky ballet dancers. Following a good tradition, the guests will enjoy of the Peacock Clock ceremony in the Pavilion Hall of the Small Hermitage, and in end of the evening - a cocktail in the Hanging Garden in the mysterious light of the White Nights.
The funds raised through the Gala will go to the State Hermitage Endowment. The income from this special-purpose capital is forwarded to expand the museum’s collection.
This year the Hermitage will invite to the Gala Banquet members of the Board of Trustees of the Hermitage and the Endowment, directors and executives of leading Russian museums and businesses, representatives from the show business and the media.
